Frangipani Challenge

The Frangipani Challenge is a competition held in September in Darwin, Northern Territory. The Western Australian (WA) State Development Team (formerly the 'Frangipani Team') has been invited to attend this year's event on 23 and 24 September.

In 2023 the trials for the WA State Development Team are only open to Junior age group members that have not competed in the Calisthenics Association of WA State Team for their current age section.

Unfortunately the timing of this year's event clashes with the WA State Championship competition dates for our A grade Junior team. As a result, our Junior team members are not eligible to trial for the State Development Team.

History of Imperial representation

In 2019, 4 of our members were selected to participate in the team and in 2021, 2 of our members were selected. Our Imperial representatives and their teammates placed first overall at both events.

WA did not send a team to the event in 2022.
